  29. San Francisco -- from Indianapolis: OT Gosder Cherilus, Boston College
  30. Green Bay: CB Brandon Flowers, Virginia Tech
  31. New York Giants: S Kenny Phillips, Miami
I edited it at 2:45 pm after rethinking needs and priorities.

Trade Rumors:
  • Saints thinking of trading into top seven to get Sedrick Ellis or Glenn Dorsey.
  • Giants shopping Jeremy Shockey to move up in first round. Saints and Seahawks are interested in him.
  • Jason Taylor being shopped by the Dolphins for a first-round pick. However, he does not have the net-worth of Jared Allen, who was traded to the Vikings for a first-rounder and a pair of third-rounders. Don't expect more than that for Taylor if a deal goes through.
  • Expect a lot of moving down and waiving during and after the draft so that teams can save cap room for the new rookies. A good example is the Jets, who waived four players yesterday, including CB Manny Collins, to open up cap rooms.

if al davis has to pick between mcfadden and long i am going to laugh very hard.

and if long falls to the chiefs, they're definitely taking him and he will be every bit as good, if not better, than allen..they're both high energy guys, one doesn't have baggage, this would be a huge grab for the chiefs. wouldn't be surprised to see a trade down from atlanta if long, mcfadden, and gholston remain on the board to, say, the jets or the patriots, though.

philly taking aqib talib? some reason i thought they'd be more likely to target one of those offensive linemen...mainly i'm saying this because i hope he falls to dallas haha i don't really follow the eagles that closely. but nice work.

If the Raiders take Long, it will hurt the Chiefs a lot. The rivalry continues!

theres no way Raiders pass on Long, even if Mcfaddin is still available. IY wont hurt the Chiefs that much there is plenty to choose from.

If the Redskins pick up a vetren WR before the draft they will not draft one in the first round.

If Miami gets a first round pick for Jason Taylor they are going QB.

I like it for the most part.  Much love for taking the time.

Inside sources state that Al Davis wants McFadden at all costs.

Redskins will get a WR

IDK about the QB thing for the Dolphins. I'm thinking defense for them, probably a corner.

McFadden could slip as far as 9 to Cincinnati that has an uncertain situation at RB.  Noone really wants to pick a running back too high because they want too much money and their durability over the long haul is always questionable.  Oakland will probably take Chris Long.

I am hearing reports that St. Louis could take Chris Long with the second pick.  Would Atlanta be inclined to take Dorsey over Ryan if the situation presents itself?

I think Darren McFadden and Glenn Dorsey are the best talent in this year's NFL draft. I couldn't see Atlanta passing over Dorsey especially since Atlanta's new head coach is a defensive minded coach.
